coaching educational therapy service delivery framework sensory integration therapy parent communication scalability go-to-market strategy student-centred learning visual design executive functionsTo design and map out a scalable, neurodivergent-inclusive programming model for Blue Marble Academy, integrating tutoring services, assistive tech, and sensory-informed spaces into a flexible, student-centered pathway.
Goals:
- Conduct research to understand the specific support needs of neurodivergent Kâ12 and postsecondary students.
- Identify gaps in current service delivery (including tutoring, onboarding, study support, and parent communication).
- Benchmark best practices from inclusive education models and edtech companies.
- Collaboratively design a list of essential, cost-effective sensory room items that align with your programming goals and physical spaces.
- Co-design a service delivery framework that integrates educational therapy principles, assistive technology, and flexible learning options.
- Propose scalable models (weekly programming, one-to-one vs. group support, OT/RBA collaboration).
- Build out pricing models, operational workflow, and partnership opportunities (e.g., schools, nonprofits, insurance/benefit coverage).
Key Outcomes:
- Inclusive, evidence-informed programming model that addresses the unique needs of neurodivergent learners.
- Market insights into parent expectations, pricing willingness, and funding support (e.g., EAF, private health benefits).
- A curated list and visual design of sensory room elements with estimated costs, layout ideas, and accessibility considerations.
- Actionable implementation plan that can be tested and launched in 2025.
Project Activities:
- Conduct interviews/surveys with families, educators, and therapists who work with neurodivergent youth.
- Review literature on neurodiversity-inclusive programming and successful learning interventions.
- Analyze service delivery gaps in tutoring, onboarding, and content engagement at Blue Marble.
- Map out a user journey and identify friction points in accessibility, consistency, and motivation.
- Design a modular program that could include:
- Sensory-informed learning spaces
- OT-aligned coaching tools
- Session tracking and feedback loops for parents
- Bundled services (e.g., tutoring + executive function support)
- Research sensory integration tools and propose a room layout plan based on budget tiers (low, mid, high).
- Build a go-to-market plan: pricing, staffing needs, and referral pathways.
- Identify local and national funding programs that can offset costs for families.
